The Ministry of Health named the preliminary cost of the vaccine against COVID-19
A dose of the coronavirus vaccine in Ukraine will cost about $ 40, according to the ministry.
When the coronavirus vaccine appears in Ukraine, a dose will cost approximately $ 40. This was stated by the head of the Ministry of Health, Maxim Stepanov, on the air of the television channel Ukraine 24 on Wednesday, October 14.
“There are prices, at least the information provided to us by the vaccine manufacturers that are conducting the third phase (clinical trials – ed.). The preliminary price they gave is $ 37,” Stepanov said.
The minister specified that it is an approximate price, which was named by two companies from China and the United States.
“This is an approximate price, as they determine based on their costs. But they do not exclude that this price will be reduced in the end and will be significantly reduced,” summarized Stepanov.
Recall that in Ukraine for two days in a row more than 100 victims of COVID-19. Now more than 152 thousand Ukrainians are sick with coronavirus. During the last day, their number increased by 3,346.
It was also reported that in Kiev there is an anti-registration of daily mortality from COVID-19. There are already 28,512 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the capital of Ukraine, 518 people have died.
