The preliminary price of the COVID-19 vaccine for Ukrainians will be $ 37 (1,048 UAH) per dose. This was announced on the air of Ukraine 24 by the Minister of Health, Maxim Stepanov.

He clarified that this price was named by two companies from China and the United States. At the same time, according to the minister, companies do not rule out that over time they may significantly reduce the price.
More than 200 potential vaccines for COVID-19 are being developed around the world, said the Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus. There are 31 vaccines in human clinical trials.
An outbreak of coronavirus infection began in late 2019 in China. On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization declared the spread of the coronavirus a pandemic.
