The level of 60 hospitalizations per 100,000 inhabitants has been exceeded in 14 regions of Ukraine, the Ministry of Health said.

The Kiev, Zhytomyr, Transcarpathian, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kiev, Odessa and Chernivtsi regions belong to the “red” level of epidemic danger, “orange”. The rest of the regions belong to the “yellow” level.

The hospitalization rate was exceeded in Kiev (104.9 per 100,000 of the population), Vinnitsa (130.3), Dnepropetrovsk (64.5), Zhytomyr (112.6), Transcarpathian (88.4), Ivano- Frankivsk (108.8), Kiev (74.6), Lvov (61.5), Nikolaev (101.1), Odessa (68.4), Sumy (65.4), Khmelnitsky (98.7), Chernivtsi (99) and Chernihiv (63.5).

An outbreak of coronavirus infection began in late 2019 in China. On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization declared the spread of the coronavirus a pandemic. As of the morning of March 21, more than 1.5 million cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Ukraine, 29.9 thousand people died, almost 1.3 million cases were recovered.
