Ukrainians will be treated “under protocol”
New standards of treatment in Ukrainian medical institutions will build on the successful experience of other countries.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Health is developing national protocols for the treatment of diseases. About this, on Saturday May 9, said the Minister of Health, Maski Stepanov, in an interview with TSN.
According to the department head, similar protocols have already been introduced for the treatment of COVID-19 coronavirus infection.
“We will have Ukrainian standards of medical care, and we will have Ukrainian clinical recommendations or protocols; the name is no longer important. This is exactly what we will be treated with and used by Ukrainian doctors. How are these protocols elaborated? From different countries , the best countries in a particular area, in each industry, medical field, there are countries that are more advanced. And then they already adapt to the realities of Ukraine, “said Stepanov.
According to the minister, 120 protocols are already ready for today. Two thousand five hundred treatment standards are established in the work, in which the algorithms for the actions of health workers in the treatment of a particular disease are prescribed.
Previously, the head of the Ministry of Health announced that he would insist on taking the necessary decisions, including staffing, regarding delays in surcharges for health workers involved in the fight against COVID-19.
