Lockdown will take place as scheduled
Regardless of the incidence of the coronavirus, the strict quarantine in Ukraine will take place on the appointed dates.
The transfer of the strict quarantine, which is scheduled for January 8 to 24, will not be even with a significant reduction in the incidence of coronavirus. This was announced in a briefing on Thursday, December 24, by Health Minister Maxim Stepanov.
“The strict quarantine will be from January 8 to 24. At the end of January, the growth of influenza patients begins, who have the same complications. We need to enter February with a minimum number of COVID-19 patients. Therefore, no there will be strict quarantine transfer in January, “he added. he said.
Speaking about the Cabinet of Ministers’ decision to extend restaurant work on New Year’s Eve, Stepanov noted that even if work was banned after 1:00, it would hardly have forced people to disperse.
“The government’s decision exclusively concerns the opening hours of public catering, the remaining restrictions remain (…) It is unlikely that all restaurants will start closing at 1:00 am. We understand that someone will work until 2: 00 am, etc. “said Stepanov. …
We recall, the Cabinet of Ministers allowed restaurants, cafes and other catering establishments to operate on New Year’s Eve until 7:00.
Please note, according to the above decree, as of December 19, the work of restaurants, cafes, bars and other establishments is prohibited after 23:00 and until 07:00. At the same time, it allowed the activities of the institutions on New Year’s Eve until 01:00.
