The Ministry of Health does not exclude a second stop of the Kiev metro
The “red” level of epidemic danger foresees two points that are related to public transport, recalled the Deputy Minister of Health.
The Kiev Metro will stop if the capital enters the “red” zone of the coronavirus quarantine. This was stated by Ukraine’s chief medical officer, Viktor Lyashko, in an interview with Segodnya, published on Monday, November 2.
He recalled that the “red” level of epidemic danger provides for two points related to public transport.
“The first is to restrict the operation of public transport. The second is to prohibit boarding of interregional and interregional transport,” said the chief health doctor.
Therefore, according to him, routes from Kiev may also be closed. “I will not say that this will be introduced immediately, but that option is not ruled out,” Lyashko emphasized.
Recall that in Kiev last day 507 new cases of coronavirus were registered, a total of 38,745 since the beginning of the epidemic. At the same time, nine people died per day, in total – 787, 12 recovered (total – 12,924).
