Kiev has a fruitful cooperation with Ankara
Ukraine and Turkey are working together to create combat drones, Kiev hopes to deepen cooperation.
Union with Turkey can bring many benefits to Ukraine. Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba spoke about the union of Kiev and Ankara in an interview with BBC News Ukraine.
He noted that there is already a deep strategic partnership between the countries, including in the military-technical field.
“We also buy drones, we participate in their production, these are very promising projects, and we plan to actively develop them and launch new projects, because the union of Turkey and Ukraine can bring many benefits to both countries and to the region as a whole,” Kuleba said. …
The minister believes that Ukraine and Turkey can build more than just a strategic partnership.
“We are interested in this conversation, in deepening the interaction between our countries,” he said.
Kuleba also reiterated that Ukraine supports the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, but regrets the start of hostilities and casualties.
Turkey, on the other hand, consistently declares its support for Baku, in particular, there was a statement from Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu about his willingness to support “on the battlefield”.
It was previously reported that Ukraine plans to purchase up to fifty Bayraktar combat drones from Turkey.
