The Verkhovna Rada received a letter of resignation from the Minister of Ecology and the Minister for Veterans: Roman Abramovsky and Sergei Bessarab. The people’s deputies plan to consider this personnel issue tomorrow, December 16.
This was stated by the Speaker of Parliament Dmitry Razumkov at today’s meeting of the Rada.
“Announcement, there were requests for the removal of two ministers: the Minister of Environment and Natural Resources and the Minister of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine,” Razumkov said.
In addition, the head of parliament asked the relevant committees to meet tomorrow morning to discuss the resignation of these ministers.
“I ask the committees to meet tomorrow and consider these issues in the morning so that we can bring them to plenary sessions,” he said.
Note that a meeting of the Servants of the People faction will be held today with the participation of President Volodymyr Zelensky. On the agenda is the issue of personnel changes in the Cabinet of Ministers.
As RBC-Ukraine wrote, the parliament can appoint new ministers for education, energy and a new minister for veterans affairs. In addition, the mono-majority said who could head these ministries.
