Ukrainian schoolchildren may receive additional holidays due to the upcoming local elections. This was stated on September 1 during a meeting with journalists from the Minister of Health, Maxim Stepanov.
In local elections, electoral commissions will be located mainly in schools, so now the Ministry of Health, together with the Central Electoral Commission, are developing a mechanism for the safe conduct of elections in a pandemic.
“We already understand that it is necessary to take small additional vacations so that at the time the commissions and the vote count are carried out, the children do not study,” Stepanov told reporters.
