A military parade will be held in Kiev for the 30th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence. The troop parade will take place in Khreshchatyk and Independence Square in 2021.
The corresponding decree was signed today by President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The organization and conduct of the military parade for the 30th anniversary of independence was entrusted to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
Likewise, on August 24 of next year, celebrations will be held with the participation of representatives of state authorities and local governments, foreign states, international organizations, clergy and the public.
In addition, it is planned to lay flowers on the monuments, commemorative signs, burial places of prominent Ukrainian figures, fighters for the independence of Ukraine, participants in the Donbass war.
We will remember, on Independence Day, Ukraine plans to visit the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew. His Beatitude’s visit was arranged during President Volodymyr Zelensky’s trip to Turkey.
