In particular, in the area of responsibility of the Vostok operational-tactical group, the enemy opened fire several times in the Avdiivka suburb, using 82-caliber mortars, multi-system grenade launchers and small arms.
Also near the Yakovlevka settlement, an enemy UAV of the “quadrocopter” type was discovered, which was shot down after crossing the line of contact.
Near Water, the Separatists fired from a handheld anti-tank grenade launcher and small arms. Single, non-targeted small arms shots were recorded near Pavlopol.
In the area of responsibility of the North operational-tactical group, near the Zolotoe-4 settlement, the enemy used multi-system grenade launchers and large-caliber machine guns, and near Novolugansky used small arms.
Since the beginning of this day, January 2, there have been no violations of the ceasefire. There is silence along the entire line of demarcation. There are no combat losses.
As reported, on New Years Eve, there were six attacks in the JFO area. There were no combat losses or injuries among the military APUs.
Recall that a 22-year-old soldier died in Donbas. A soldier from Vinnitsa was killed in the JFO area. The circumstances of his death are being specified. The military man has his parents, sister and brothers.
