The territory of the unrecognized republic of Nagorno-Karabakh will decrease significantly, as will the territories controlled by Armenia.
The media published an updated map of Nagorno-Karabakh after the signing of an agreement on the end of hostilities. What the region will look like now, RBC showed.
As you know, according to the agreement, Armenia must transfer several territories to Azerbaijan.
So, by November 15, the Kelbajar region should be transferred, by November 20, the Aghdam region, and on December 1, the Lachin region.
At the same time, the Lachin corridor (5 km wide) will be created, which will ensure the connection of Nagorno-Karabakh with Armenia and at the same time will not affect the city of Shusha.
According to the agreement, around 2,000 Russian peacekeepers will be deployed to the region, who have already started arriving in Armenia.
