Another Italian source reports on the upcoming transfer of 24-year-old Ukrainian midfielder Viktor Kovalenko from Shakhtar to Atalanta.
According to information Bergamo firstAtalanta managed to reach an agreement on the terms of a 4-year contract with Kovalenko. At the same time, the Italian club will pay the Ukrainian no more than 2 million euros per year, which is the maximum amount on Atalanta’s payroll.
However, the source does not reveal the exact amount, instead it is pointed out that the management of the Bergamo club managed to convince Kovalenko of the ambition of his project.
Previously La Gazzetta dello Sport released the salaries of all Atalanta players this season. The highest paid player on the team is Alejandro Gómez, who earns 2 million euros a year, but the Argentine will likely leave the club in January. Ukrainian legionnaire “Atalanta” Ruslan Malinovsky receives 1 million euros per season.
It should be noted that previously in the national press it was reported that Viktor Kovalenko receives about 60 thousand euros a month in the Shakhtar.
