The so-called “linguistic” law, which regulates the use of the Ukrainian language as a state language, is not problematic. But the provisions on national minorities raise questions.

This was stated in a briefing by the head of the Constitutional Court, Alexander Tupitsky, correspondent for RBC-Ukraine informs.

According to him, the Constitutional Court has not yet ruled on this law. At the same time, he stressed that he does not see any particular problem with its constitutionality.

“There are no special problems there. But there are national minority issues,” Tupitsky said.

Let us remind you that today the Constitutional Court of Ukraine is considering the “language” law to comply with the Constitution. The initiators of this presentation point out that the law allegedly does not comply with a number of provisions of the Basic Law, “since it aims to discriminate Russian and other languages of national minorities in Ukraine.”

The examination of scandalous issues continues in the context of the situation with the actual abolition of anti-corruption legislation in Ukraine. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the most liberal way out of the situation is the voluntary resignation of the judges.
