The Kremlin said a meeting of the Normandy Four should be expected in the foreseeable future, but there is no need to talk about specific dates.
This is reported by TASS with reference to the press secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov.
“In fact, we should expect a meeting of heads of state in the Normandy format in the foreseeable future,” the Kremlin spokesman said. “The only downside here is what counts as the foreseeable future.”
According to him, it is useless to set dates now, since the new Normandy Summit requires preparation, and for its celebration it is necessary to record the implementation of the agreements that were reached at the last meeting in Paris.
We will recall, recently, that President Volodymyr Zelensky said that all the heads of the Normandy Four countries confirmed their willingness to hold a meeting in Berlin.
We also write that the Kremlin is not sure that the Normandy Four meeting will take place before the end of the year.
