One of the biggest and most scandalous developers in the capital. Maxim Mikitas – the main character of the news of the last days. The former owner of the construction company “Ukrbud” spent six months in a preventive detention center and was released on Wednesday, December 2. More precisely, under house arrest.
The former people’s deputy reimbursed 50,000,000 out of 81,640,000 UAH for damages in the event of misappropriation of property from the Ukrainian National Guard.
In addition, Mikitas made a deal with NABU (National Anti-Corruption Office) and began testifying against the deputy head of President Oleg Tatarov’s office.
Tatarov a week ago strongly opposed NABU, saying this “is not a Ukrainian story” and saying that NABU chief Artem Sytnik should be fired. After that, the NABU escalated the criminal cases against him (based on Mikitas’ testimony), and tried to convey suspicion to him (read more about this in our article).
After testifying against Tatarov, Mikitas was released.
Additionally, Mikitas also testified against former Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman.
The developer allegedly gave up office space in the elite residential complex “Aristocrat” to the latter’s confidant at a price three times lower than the market price in exchange for the solutions Mikitas needed.

“Strana” visited the village of Gnedin on the banks of the Dnieper. Here, in his luxurious residence under 24-hour house arrest, stands Maxim Mikitas. And the conditions here, frankly, are more than comfortable and luxurious.
The property of the promoter stands out very strongly in the context of the neighboring houses.
This is a palace complete with a guest house, a four-car garage, and a main courtyard for a large fleet of luxury foreign cars, a private lake, a swimming pool, a tennis court, a playground, and access to the river.

The classic-style mansion itself is impressive for its size. Two stories with a mansard roof, a huge summer kitchen, and decks leading to the backyard.
All this occupies 1731 sq.m. m, also a separate guest house of 261 square meters. This is even more than Petro Poroshenko’s possession in Kozin.
As previously wrote “Strana”, the former president of Ukraine has a mansion of 1331 square meters. m along with all extensions of the street.
There are no flower beds or fantastic landscape designs on the Mikitasya site.
In the yard, there is simply a living carpet of grass, many thujas and blue fir trees.
Young fruit trees are also planted, there are several flowerbeds. Behind the house there is a real playground (Maxim and his wife Natalia have two daughters – Ed.).
There is also a field to play football, basketball, tennis. And a swing with a slide. And even a homemade two-story log house for outdoor games.

We did not see the owner himself on the territory.
The humid weather, dense fog and the wind did not favor walking outdoors. There were only a few strong guys walking through the garages, looking like the ex-agent’s security officer. A couple of foreign cars were also parked there.
The area is elite on the banks of the Dnieper. Near Lake Zoloche and the rural town of the same name. Directly across the river, on the other side of Koncha-Zaspa.
Kiev is easily accessible: half an hour or 25 km and is located in the city center.

According to the documents, the residence in Gnedina has been owned by the businessman’s wife since 2014. Mikitas designated the spacious mansion as a “dacha”. And the family’s territory consists of several plots with a total area of 1.2 hectares.
Note that in addition to this property, according to the 2019 statement, which the former popular deputy handed over to the NAPK (National Agency for the Fight against Corruption), two houses were registered: in the capital (523 m2 and with a value of almost 10,000 .000 UAH) and a lower case. on the outskirts (44 square meters in Ivankovichi).
We will recall, earlier “Strana” reported that the Attorney General Venediktova rents a country house between the cemetery and the Abyss.
