In Zaporozhye, on the night of February 3-4, a fire broke out in one of the buildings of the regional hospital for infectious diseases, which treats patients with coronavirus. 4 people died, two more were injured.
According to the website of the State Emergency Service, the fire occurred on the first floor of a five-story building at 11:25 p.m. and at 12:19 a.m. the fire was extinguished. He also managed to save 8 people (to see the photo, scroll down the page. 18+).
As the local site 061.ua points out, the victims: a medical worker and three patients. Another 29 patients were transferred to medical institutions in the city.
The post clarifies that we are talking about the fifth building, and there were coronavirus patients in the building.
Rescuers who participated in extinguishing the fire were treated with an antiseptic by specialists in protective suits.
Eyewitnesses said they did not see the flames, but there was strong smoke.
58 people and 15 units of GSChS teams participated in extinguishing the fire.
Also on the scene was the head of the Zaporozhye Regional State Administration, Alexander Starukh.
As reported by OBOZREVATEL, on February 3 an accident occurred at the Zaporizhzhya TPP, as a result of which Energodar and several other settlements were without power for about an hour.
