Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy removed the heads of three regional state administrations. We are talking about the heads of the regional state administrations of Odessa, Ivano-Frankivsk and Sumy.
The corresponding decrees were published on November 5 on the website of the Presidency.
So, the president removed the heads of the Odessa Regional State Administration Maxim Kutsoy, the Ivano-Frankovsk Vitaly Fedorov Regional State Administration, the Sumy Roman Grishchenko Regional State Administration.
We will recall, earlier the head of the “Servant of the People” party Alexander Kornienko said that in some regions they are preparing to replace the heads of the regional state administration. He noted that personnel changes will relate to those areas where leaders have not shown any change during the year.
On Wednesday, November 4, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the removal of the heads of the regional state administrations of Odessa, Ivano-Frankivsk and Sumy.
Before this, at a government meeting, Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal said that there is no untouchable caste in Ukraine and that if an official demonstrates ineffective poor quality work or does not get anywhere, there will be personnel changes.
Furthermore, on October 20, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy appointed a new head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration.
Previously, the government approved the removal of the head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration, Andriy Prokopenko, from this post.
