The leader of the Servants of the People party, Oleksandr Kornienko, fell ill with coronavirus. He wrote about this on Thursday, October 1 on Facebook.

He said the diagnosis could not be made immediately. Initially, both the express test and the PCR were negative.

“I had no symptoms, except for the temperature. But as soon as it went up, I did the express and PCR tests. Both were unsuccessful. Then I went to a pulmonologist. They did a CT scan with the conclusion” it looks like COVID-19 “, after I immediately self-isolated. For three days I was in a state of “Schrödinger’s covid”. Some symptoms are similar: worse with smell and taste. Some do not exist at all, eg cough, “Kornienko wrote.

The popular deputy noted that his condition is stable, there are no signs of hospitalization, he is receiving the necessary treatment.

Kornienko noted that it makes sense to do an antibody test not the first day, he only managed to make a full diagnosis today.

“Doctors say this is a common story now, when the PCR shows nothing, and then there are the antibodies,” said the people’s deputy.

He advised those in a similar situation to proceed from the “coronavirus presumption” and isolate themselves.
