The agenda of the head of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, Alexander Tupitsky, whose photo was published by the LIGA.net agency, says that he must appear at the Attorney General’s Office on December 28.
The president of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine (CCU), Oleksandr Tupitsky, will be summoned to the Attorney General’s Office to raise suspicions. LIGA.net reported on the matter on December 24.
The agency published a photo of the call.
According to the document, Tupitsky on December 28 at 9.30 am must appear before the Acting Attorney General Roman Govda “to participate in the procedural action – to report on the suspicion of criminal proceedings.”
The LIGA.net source states that the summons to Tupitsky should be delivered on December 24.
On October 29, the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) reported that they were reviewing Tupitsky for his involvement in the commission of crimes as part of a criminal organization in the case of the impact on the activities of economic courts. He was summoned for questioning on November 2, but did not attend because, according to him, he had already been questioned in this case.
Additionally, the SBI suspects Tupitsky of unauthorized occupation of land and high treason.
According to the Schemes program, Tupitsky in 2018 became the owner of a plot of land in Koreiz in annexed Crimea, having completed a purchase and sale agreement under Russian law. It did not reflect this information in its income statement. Another “Schemes” investigation says that Tupitsky participated in the shadows in the privatization of a plant in Donbass.
Tupitsky was appointed a Constitutional Court judge in May 2013 based on the president’s quota. He is now 57 years old. He headed the KSU in September 2019.
