UCP asks Zelensky to remove Tupitsky from office
Tupitsky was summoned to raise suspicions. He said he couldn’t come for family reasons.
The head of the Constitutional Court, Oleksandr Tupitskiy, on Monday, December 28, did not appear at the Attorney General’s Office to obtain suspicions, he was sent by mail, reports Interfax-Ukraine, citing the press service of the UCP.
He said that he could not come for family reasons, but did not provide documents on the validity of the reasons for the lack of appearance. The notification of suspicion is delivered the day it is written, and if delivery is impossible, it is mailed the same day. In this regard, the notification of suspicion, as such, which was compiled by the Attorney General’s Office today, sent by mail to the corresponding addresses ”, – said the Attorney General’s Office.
In addition, the PCU sent a petition to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to remove Tupitsky from the post of judge for a period of two months. Although the president does not have such powers.
