The head of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, Oleksandr Tupitskiy, did not appear for questioning at the State Investigation Office.
It was scheduled for 9:30 am on Monday, November 2. This was reported by “Interfax-Ukraine” with reference to the RRG press service.
It is noted that Tupitsky should have been investigated for participation in a criminal organization, crimes committed in its composition, as well as for taking measures to cover up crimes.
“He was supposed to come at 9:30, but he didn’t show up.”, – reported in the press service of the Office.
Although it is known that previously the head of the KSU stated that he had no intention of going for questioning and asked not to be surprised by this.
“I ask you not to be surprised if I do not appear for questioning. Why do I not appear? In fact, my suspicion has been made public. What kind of witness am I after that?” – said Tupitsky.
We will recall that earlier the deputy of the Servants of the People faction Galina Yanchenko announced a meeting on November 2 between the president of the KSU, Alexander Tupitsky, the spokesman of the Verkhovna Rada Dmitry Razumkov and the president Vladimir Zelensky. In particular, discuss possible steps to get out of the current crisis as a result of the latest decisions of the Constitutional Court and the presented presidential bill. In addition, the vice-chair of the Verkhovna Rada Anti-Corruption Policy Committee announced her intention to submit to parliament a proposal to reduce the funding of the Constitutional Court.
