Ukraine’s Finance Minister Sergei Marchenko said that Ukraine expects to receive two tranches of $ 700 million from the IMF by the end of the year. However, the deputy director of the National Bank of Ukraine, Dmitry Sologub, believes that this opportunity has already been lost and it is necessary to try to get one.

Zelensky is convinced that in the current situation, the Ukrainian economy needs money from the IMF. “It is profitable for us, not profitable, now it is like blood for the human body ”, he explained.

Shevchenko said the IMF “has certain concerns about anti-corruption policies.”
