NABU put UASC chief Pavel Vovk on the wanted list
Pavel Vovka is wanted by NABU, since the judge ignored the summons and did not attend questioning.
NABU has announced the search for the head of the Kiev District Administrative Court Pavel Vovk. This was reported by the department’s press service on Tuesday, November 3.
He is sought “for the systematic ignorance of the summons of the investigating body and the investigating judge, as well as for the lack of appearance to participate in the interrogation and other procedural actions.”
“The National Anti-Corruption Office of Ukraine is looking for a suspect in criminal proceedings for the fact that the president of the Kiev District Administrative Court created a criminal organization with the aim of seizing state power, obstructing the activities of the Commission of High Qualification of Judges of Ukraine, interfering in the activities of statesmen – members of the Commission of High Qualification of Judges of Ukraine, participation in this criminal organization of judges of the Kiev District Administrative Court and other people, the acceptance of the proposal and the receipt of illegal benefits by the Chairman of the State Judicial Administration of Ukraine, “it was reported.
Recall that previously the head of the administrative court, Vovk, remained in office. The Higher Council of Justice motivated its decision by the fact that the prosecution did not provide evidence of Vovk’s involvement in criminal offenses.
Later, VSP explained the refusal to remove Vovk. The Superior Council of Justice said the controversial judge was not duly notified of the suspicion.
