The number of Russian occupation troops in eastern Ukriana is 35.5 thousand people, another three thousand regular soldiers are serving in the 1st and 2nd Army Corps (AK). This was announced on Tuesday, November 30, by the press service of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, quoting the words of its representative Vadim Skibitsky.

At the same time, Skibitsky, commenting on the conduct of a readiness check for mobilization by the Russian occupation administration, said that the number of enemy troops in eastern Ukraine is up to 80%. The rear and support units of the militants are better equipped.

“The problem associated with mobilization resources was discovered during the inspections of the 1st and 2nd AK by the commission of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, and the deficiencies are being urgently eliminated,” said the GUR representative.

According to him, in ORDLO there is a departure of soldiers from units of the 1st and 2nd Army Corps and a decrease in the mobilization resource, since as a result of the difficult socioeconomic conditions, most of the population of the so-called “republics” goes to the territory of the Russian Federation.

To stop the “departure of personnel”, the Russian occupation administration blocks the departure of citizens between 18 and 50 years of the “republics” in every way possible.

As reported, the Russian authorities began calling ORDLO residents, who received passports from a citizen of the Russian Federation, to their army.
