The National Anti-Corruption Office carried out searches in the case of bribery of the construction company Ukrbud in the structures of the former Prime Minister of Ukraine, Volodymyr Groysman.
Journalist Yuri Butusov announced this on Facebook, noting that the searches took place on December 1 and 2. According to him, the owner of “Ukrbud” Maxim Mikitas testified against Groisman.
Ukrbud received lucrative construction contracts from the government in 2017-18. Mikitas gave NABU and SAP her phone number, documents, and testified about the public officials she gave bribes to. Mikitas testified against the deputy head of President Oleg Tatarov’s office, the deputy head of the Interior Ministry expert center Konstantin Dubonos and against former Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman, and immediate investigative actions were initiated against these people, “he said.
Butusov added that, according to the decision of the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court of November 26, 2017, Mikitas met with Prime Minister Groisman and promised him a bribe in the form of transfer of non-residential premises in the Aristocrats residential complex in central Kiev, at 34 Yevhen Konovalets Street.
“The premises with an area of about 2,000 square meters are estimated on the market at no less than 2 million dollars. According to Mikitas’ testimony, the premises were moved to the Groisman structures on December 18, 2017, and were decorated on behalf of Yuriy Gizhko, a businessman from the Vinnitsa region, “added the journalist.
Butusov, referring to his sources, stressed that the NABU and SAP confirmed the fact of the corresponding judicial decision and the realization of records.
