Vladimir Levin shared his opinion on the current situation in Ukrainian football.

The president of Chernihiv Desna, Vladimir Levin, discussed the current situation with his colleague Vladislav Gelzin and the arbitration under the leadership of Luciano Luci.
“For more than a week, the passions around the Olympic match – Shakhtar and the events that followed have not abated.
Since we are all one big football family, I can’t just be an outside observer. In this regard, I want to clarify some points and express my position.
1. Vladislav Gelzin, of course, did not suppress his emotions after the game and should receive a well deserved punishment. But what some people say and write in the press (suspension from football for life) is immeasurable to his fault. It was an emotional statement, for which, by the way, he has already publicly apologized. My opinion is a fine and a disqualification until the end of the season.
2. Gelzin’s immeasurably severe punishment will appear to be outright retaliation for the club president. And the history of the stadium Dynamo them. Lobanovsky is a vivid confirmation of this. Was it after this match that it became clear that the stadium did not match? And was it on this subject that it was necessary to meet quickly and make a quick decision?
3. The UAF should also carefully investigate the reasons that led President Olympic to make such statements. There are problems with arbitration and it will not work to close your eyes to them in this situation. These problems have already accumulated like a snowball, in each round more referees are discussed than footballers.

4. I believe that the facts published by Olympic should also be carefully reviewed. If they are credible, then the FTC must consider Luciano’s demonstrative contempt for our country and soccer figures using duplicate disciplinary rules.
5. To achieve publicity in the work, behavior and activities of the head of the UAF referee committee, the investigation must be opened by the UAF FTC.
6. The head of the UAF referee committees is obliged to convene at least once a month a round table for club representatives and journalists and reasonably explain the resounding decisions of the referees. And the report on the work done should not be for a single person, but for the entire football community.
7. Our main common task, both for the clubs and for the UAF, is to achieve transparency for all participants in football competitions. Both by the clubs and by the referees, to obtain the results of the game only in a sporting way
We, the Desna football club, are convinced that all the club leaders, the heads of the UAF and the committees, should meet in a round table and speak openly and transparently about all the problems. Only together will we strengthen Ukrainian football, “Levin wrote on his Facebook page.
