The visa-free regime with Granada will begin operating on March 1

However, due to the pandemic, this does not mean the possibility of free tourist trips from the first day of spring.

In Ukraine, as of March 1, a visa-free regime will begin to operate with the Caribbean island state of Grenada, as well as for entry to overseas territories within the Netherlands. Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba recalled this in a microblog on Twitter on February 28.

“We are expanding travel freedom for Ukrainians, despite all circumstances. On March 1, two visa-free trips will begin: Grenada and the overseas territories of the Netherlands, Aruba and Curaçao, the Caribbean islands of Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba, more Georgia is opening up, “said the minister.

However, due to the pandemic, this does not mean the possibility of free tourist trips already from March 1.

For the overseas territories of the Netherlands, the same requirements apply as for entering the Netherlands, only for certain categories, with a coronavirus test and self-isolation.

Similar requirements apply in Grenada, with preliminary registration and confirmation of an entry permit and a negative PCR test.

Travel under the visa-free regime between Ukraine and EU countries will not be available to citizens of our country for several more months, the German ambassador to Ukraine Anka Feldhusen previously suggested.
