The final stage of the operation to lift and tow the sunken tanker Delfi began in Odessa on September 6. Infrastructure Minister Vladislav Krikliy announced this on Telegram.
He noted that all tests have been completed, the ecological status is normal. The minister said that in the final stage of the uprising will take place:
- carrying water from tanks, where it was specifically supplied to ensure a stable state in the ground;
- water flow tests;
- moving deep;
- installation of ropes and devices to tie the tanker between the DM barge and the Atlas-4 floating crane;
- confirmation of the possibility of crossing from the water zone and crossing.
Tanker Delfi sank near the beach in Odessa during a storm in November 2019. Delfi moved slowly near Dolphin Beach until it ran aground. Capsized, the ship sank. According to media reports, Delfi may have been involved in oil smuggling… After the shipwreck, the content of petroleum products in the water area. exceeded the norm 157 times.
Lifting work on the tanker began on July 24. July 26 they put it on the keel.
