In the center of Kiev, near Verkhovna Rada, a protest action by SaveFOP businessmen is taking place. During the event, the activists confronted the police, the agents of the order drew up administrative protocols for vandalism for two people, according to the communication department of the capital’s police.

“During the preventive work with the participants of the events, some of them behave aggressively and do not react to the legal demands of law enforcement officers. To restore public order, law enforcement officers are forced to create habitable corridors and scare away citizens for the passage and free passage of vehicles, “said the police in a statement.

Verbal skirmishes, as well as fights, are observed from time to time between protesters and the police.

Administrative materials were written on two businessmen who protested in the place for violation of art. 173 (minor vandalism) of the Code of Administrative Offenses of Ukraine.

The police urge the organizers and participants of the event to respect the law and not disturb public order.

It should be noted that businessmen are demanding that the people’s deputies pass a bill on a simplified tax system for small and medium-sized enterprises.

We previously reported that the protesters tried to block MPs in the Rada. The police pushed people back and opened a corridor for MPs to pass. In the course of this, a fight broke out.

Before that, it was reported that in the Verkhovna Rada itself, the people’s deputies Yurchenko and Leros had struck. Yurchenko, who came out of house arrest, called his colleague, for which he was grabbed by the neck.
