Dollar in exchange points sell less than 27 hryvnia
At the Ukrainian exchange offices today, May 13, 2020, at 12:00 the exchange rate in dollars for sale decreased by 11 kopecks to 26.94 hryvnias per dollar compared to the previous business day, the exchange rate of the euro fell by 8 kopecks to 29.14 hryvnias per euro. This is evidenced by the monitoring data from RBC-Ukraine.
Cash market
In the cash market, the average purchase rate in dollars is 26.66 (May 26.76 – May 12), sales – 26.94 (May 27 – May 12) UAH per dollar. The average purchase rate for the euro is 28.69 (May 28.74 – May 12), sales – 29.14 (May 29 – May 12) UAH per euro. The average purchase rate of the ruble is 3.20 (3.19 – May 12), sales of 3.68 (3.69 – May 12) UAH for 10 rubles.
Interbank
Recall, May 13, the interbank foreign exchange market opened with a depreciation of the dollar. For sale, compared to the close of the previous session, decreased by 6 kopecks to 26.80 hryvnia per dollar, the purchase rate to 26.68 hryvnia per dollar. The euro for sale decreased by 15 kopecks to 28.95 hryvnia per euro.
NBU course
Taking into account the offers in the interbank market, the National Bank established the reference rate at 26.69 UAH / USD as of May 13, lowering it compared to May 12 (26.80 UAH). Therefore, the official NBU overnight rate will be set at approximately this level.
Bank courses
The largest banks set the dollar exchange rate between 26.75 – 26.90 UAH / dollar, lowering it compared to the previous day.
The Verkhovna Rada voted on May 13 the so-called “anti-Colombian” bill, which would complicate Privatbank’s return to Igor Kolomoisky.
As reported by RBC-Ukraine, the Minister of Finance of Ukraine Sergey Marchenko said that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will agree to negotiate with Ukraine on a new program only after the approval of the Verkhovna Rada of bank bill 2571 -d.
