In February there will be a meeting of the EU-Ukraine Association Council. There the association agreement will be discussed.
This was stated by Ukraine’s representative to the EU, Mykola Tochitsky, in an online briefing.
The meeting will be held on February 11, he said.
“We will have a meeting of the Association Council in February, February 11, where there will be a substantive discussion on our association agreement,” said Tochitsky.
As a reminder, Olga Stefanishina, Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, said that Ukraine has reached the second level of European integration. Now in the country, a significant amount of legislation is close to the standards of the European Union.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine wrote that no major political steps from the EU are expected in the near future for further European integration of Ukraine. At the same time, the European Union helps Ukraine to get closer in terms of economics, standards, business and science.
