Thierry Breton, the European Commissioner for Internal Market Affairs, said Russia’s Sputnik V vaccine could start production in Europe within a year. This is reported by TASS.
He said he respects Russian scientists and has no reason to doubt his vaccine. However, if the drug is tested in the next few weeks or months, and a way is found to make it in Europe, it will take 10-14 months for the first batch of doses to be released.
“Why not? But this will not be the answer to today’s problems,” Breton explained.
As reported by “Strana”, the Italian Naples and neighboring cities agreed to purchase the Russian “Sputnik V”. In the Campania region, Soresa is the central purchasing agent for regional sanitary products. He entrusted the supplier of Human Vaccine with the purchase of the Russian vaccine.
Furthermore, Germany asked the European Commission to start buying Sputnik V.
