The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) raised the official rate to 28.24 hryvnia per dollar on October 13, 2020. This is four kopecks higher compared to the previous banking day.
This is evidenced by the data on the regulator’s website.
Therefore, the official exchange rate of the hryvnia against the dollar as of October 13 is fixed at 28.2481 hryvnia per dollar (+0.0383 hryvnia). At the same time, the exchange rate of the dollar on October 12 was 28.2098 hryvnia per dollar.

Therefore, the official exchange rate of the dollar against the hryvnia began to rise after having been declining for four days in a row last week.

Interbank
The dollar exchange rate at the opening of the interbank market for sale did not change compared to the close of the previous session and amounted to 28.25 hryvnia per dollar, the exchange rate on purchase – 28.22 hryvnia. The exchange rate of the euro for sale increased by three kopecks to 33.38 UAH per euro.
Taking into account the operations, the NBU set the benchmark rate on October 12 at the level of 28.23 UAH / USD, after having raised it by three kopecks compared to the previous day.
Less than an hour before the close of the interbank market, the price of the dollar for sale rose to 28.31 hryvnia. The euro also rose in price, to 33.42 hryvnia.
Note that previous analysts predicted that the dollar rate this week will decline and approach the 28 hryvnia mark.
