The question of the return of the courts in Ukraine has not yet been raised for debate. The current government doubts that this will be possible in the near future.

The military prosecutor Maxim Krym believes that there are many cases in Ukraine full of certain specificities, where the judges are not specialized specialists.

Former military judge Oleg Tkachuk (now a Supreme Court judge), who has worked in this system for some 15 years, believes that the military justice system was systematically destroyed.
“I believe that the 2010 decision on the liquidation of the military courts was in line with a series of decisions that aimed at the collapse of the Ukrainian army. I believe this was the deliberate work of the enemy.
