The day before, 500 thousand doses of Covishield vaccines were brought to Ukraine
Today, vaccines will not be able to reach the remote regions of Transcarpathia and Prykarpatye. The rest of the regions will receive the vaccine at the end of the day.
Almost all regions of Ukraine on Wednesday February 24 will receive a coronavirus vaccine, except for two: Transcarpathia and Precarpathia. This was announced by the director of the state company Ukrmedsnab Oksana Marinchuk on the air of the television channel Ukraine 24.
The vaccine will be delivered there only tomorrow.
“Today we completely shut down the whole of Ukraine, as the leadership of the Ministry of Health said. But the most remote corners of Transcarpathia and the Ivano-Frankivsk region will receive the vaccine tomorrow,” Marinchuk said.
At the moment, vaccination has already started in the Cherkasy, Kiev, Chernigov and Vinnitsa regions.
Anesthesiologist Evgeniy Gorenko from Cherkassy was the first to receive the vaccine.
