Samuel Little was serving a life sentence in a California prison
Nothing suspicious was found in the death of an 80-year-old prisoner suffering from a number of illnesses.
American Samuel Little, who confessed to the murder of almost a hundred women, died at the age of 81. This was announced on Thursday, December 31 by the Associated Press, citing the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
“Samuel Little, who suffered from diabetes, heart disease and other ailments, died in a California hospital. He was serving a life sentence on multiple murder charges,” the department said.
The department also noted that nothing suspicious was found in the prisoner’s death, and the coroner would establish the exact cause of death.
Little is known that he has been behind bars since 2012, but in 2018 he told investigators that he was responsible for dozens of murders across the country between 1970 and 2005. The Federal Bureau of Investigation has announced that forensic experts consider his confessions credible. .
As reported Correspondent.netLittle was officially named by the FBI as the greatest mass murderer in the country’s history. He confessed to killing 93 women. They were mainly prostitutes and drug addicts, so in many cases the cases were not properly investigated and the bodies remained unidentified.
