The Council of Ministers does not rule out the transition from schools to distance education after the holidays

In an extraordinary meeting on October 12, the State Commission for Emergencies and Technogenic and Environmental Safety considered the issue of details of the work of educational institutions during the adaptive quarantine period. The commission does not exclude that after the end of the holidays on October 30, schools will switch to distance education.

This is indicated on the Government portal.

“… The Commission decided to recommend that general secondary education institutions establish vacations from October 15 to 30, 2020. In the next period, it is possible to switch to distance and mixed forms of education, taking into account the epidemiological situation “says the portal.

The corresponding addendum to the decree “On Amendments to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated July 22, 2020 No. 641” must be prepared by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education and Science for the government’s consideration.

Earlier, “Strana” reported that due to the worsening situation with the coronavirus, Ukrainian universities are being transferred to distance education.
