“Today at the meeting it was announced that one dose of vaccine through the COVAX system can cost seven dollars for Ukraine. A full vaccination, two doses – $ 14,” said Lyashko.

He noted that the agreement on the COVAX system provides for the allocation of eight million doses for Ukraine. This amount will be provided free of charge, but more doses can be purchased above at a special price.

Lyashko emphasized that 2.6 billion hryvnia, reserved in the 2021 budget plan, for the purchase of vaccines could be spent on the purchase of additional doses of drugs.
