Health Minister Maxim Stepanov said Ukraine has learned to treat the coronavirus. At the same time, he noted that the national treatment protocol helped in this.
This was stated by Stepanov in an interview with the television channel Ukraine 24.
“At the beginning of March, when COVID-19 arrived, there was no evidence-based medicine on the treatment processes, then we approved a national treatment protocol,” he said.
According to Stepanov, a national treatment protocol is an algorithm for the actions of a doctor when faced with any disease.
He also added that the treatment protocol is constantly being improved.
“This was not all. We did it all and we are constantly improving, depending on the world experience. This is new not only in Ukraine, but in the world,” added the minister.
Let us remember that on August 30, more than 2.1 thousand new cases of coronavirus were confirmed; in total, more than 121 thousand people have become ill with COVID-19 in the country.
In addition, the head of the State Food and Consumer Service of the city of Kiev, Oleg Ruban, said that an outbreak of coronavirus is expected after the start of the school year.
