The Kyiv Court of Appeal rejected the complaint of the Mayor of Cherkassy, Anatoly Bondarenko, against the decision of the capital Pechersk District Court in the lawsuit against President Volodymyr Zelensky. So, the claim of the mayor of Cherkasy was not satisfied.

This is reported in the decision of the Court of Appeal.

During Wednesday’s meeting, the court considered Bondarenko’s appeal against the decision of the Pechersk District Court of October 1 and left it unchanged, and the appeal of the mayor of Cherkassy against this decision was dismissed.

We will recall, in May, at a press conference, Zelensky said that “he will not sit at the same table with those bandits” as the mayor of Cherkasy. He made such a statement, commenting on Bondarenko’s decision to weaken the quarantine without permission from the government.

After that, Bondarenko filed a lawsuit to protect honor and dignity and recover 1 hryvnia from the president as compensation.

Note that the mayor of Cherkassy was re-elected to the position last Sunday. In the second round of the elections, he defeated the candidate of the “Voice” Viktor Yevpak.
