The CEC registered a new people’s deputy in place of Vakarchuk

In place of Svyatoslav Vakarchuk, veteran Andrei Sharaskin became the people’s deputy of the Golos party.

The Central Election Commission registered veteran Andrei Sharaskin as a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the Golos party in place of the former people’s deputy Svyatoslav Vakarchuk. This was reported by the CEC press service on Saturday, October 10.

The CEC also recognized Alina Sviderskaya, an elected people’s deputy, as one who did not receive a deputy mandate. Sviderskaya did not submit the relevant documents in time to register as a people’s deputy.

Note that Sharaskin (indicative of Bohemia) is a Ukrainian volunteer, scientist, director and actor. In 2014-2016 he participated in the ATO in Donbass, since 2016 he was the deputy commander of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army for social and political issues.

For the defense of the Donetsk airport he received the Order of Courage of the III degree and the medal Participant of the anti-terrorist operation. In addition, Sharaskin has the insignia of the Minister of Defense, the Badge of Honor.

Let us remember that in July the CEC recognized Alina Sviderskaya as an elected people’s deputy. It was she who was supposed to go to the Rada instead of Vakarchuk, who on June 11 announced her rejection of her deputy mandate. But it was later clarified in Golos that he could not join the parliamentary faction for personal reasons.
