On Friday, November 20, in an extraordinary meeting, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine removed Olga Buslavets from office for acting. Head of the Ministry of Energy and appointed Yuri Boyko in his place.
This was announced on Facebook by the government representative in Verkhovna Rada Vasily Mokan.
At today’s extraordinary meeting, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted two resolutions regarding those personnel decisions: on the invalidation of the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of June 3, 2020 on the temporary assignment of the functions of the Minister of Energy to O. Buslavets and on the temporary assignment of the functions of the Minister of Energy to Boyk Yuri Nikolaevich, Deputy Minister of Energy “, – wrote Mocan.
Note that Yuri Boyko from October 2014 to May 2020 was the Deputy Director of Economics and Finance of the state company “Energorynok”. Later, he served as deputy director of the Ministry of Energy.
Let us remind you that Olga Buslavets was appointed Acting Director. Head of the Ministry of Energy on April 16. Prior to that, she served as Director of the Department of Energy Markets of the Ministry of Energy. She is considered a person close to Rinat Akhmetov.
