Coronavirus in Ukraine
As of May 4, the total number of coronaviruses infected in Ukraine is 12,331 people (+418 cases of disease in the last 24 hours), 303 of them died (+15), 1,619 recovered (+72). The maximum number of cases was recorded in the regions of Kiev (1535), Chernivtsi (1887) and Ivano-Frankivsk (984).
Weakening of quarantine
Ukraine Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said the situation with the incidence rate has reached a plateau, but there are no prerequisites for the complete abolition of quarantine. According to him, as of May 11, visits to parks, squares, recreation areas will be allowed, the work of hairdressers, manicures, pedicure salons, beauty salons, take-out food facilities, the work of cafes and summer restaurants.
In addition, said the prime minister, museums, libraries, individual consumer services and household appliances, dental offices, notaries and law firms will be opened. Discussion of resuming the training of professional athletes on closed bases is under discussion.
Other restrictive measures will run until at least May 22.
Reznikov will become the deputy of Kuchma
Oleksiy Reznikov, Deputy Prime Minister for the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, has been appointed deputy representative of Ukraine in the tripartite contact group of Leonid Kuchma, said the head of the Presidential Office, Andrei Yermak.
“Today it is very important to give new impetus to the Minsk process, and Ukraine is doing it. Today we take the initiative to increase the level of delegation of delegations to Minsk in the contact group,” he said.
Antikolomoysky bill to be considered on May 12
