The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in a meeting on Monday, December 28, decided to launch a pilot project to register a place of residence in electronic form for people over 14 years of age. This service today in the country is in great demand among citizens, writes UNIAN.

Until now, only newborns and children under the age of 14 can register electronically in Ukraine, said Deputy Minister for Digital Transformation Alexander Bornyakov.

“This decree is one of the next steps to really simplify the interaction of each citizen and the state. This decree establishes instructions, terms, steps necessary for this service to be as simple as possible and to become electronic within the next year, and each person can use it with absolute freedom. ” , – said Prime Minister Denis Shmygal.

Recall that the introduction of electronic registration in Ukraine was announced in April 2020.

It was also reported that the Cabinet changed the rules for registering a place of residence. To register a minor child, documents about the right to live in the parents’ home are not required.
