A demonstration in support of the opposition will be held in Minsk on Tuesday 8 September. A spontaneous march goes through the entire city center, and people began to be detained even before the start of the action. Read more about this in the RBC-Ukraine material.
Unidentified people wearing ski masks continue to detain people
Another video with brutal arrests in Minsk. Unknown people in ski masks and riot police officers push people into rice wagons.
A column of about 300 people gathered and followed from the Komarovsky market.
People who walked from the Komarovsky market to the avenue turned around and headed for Kuibyshev. There are about 300 people in the column. Cars honk and slow down. There is already a decent traffic jam on the street in both directions.
There are already two hundred people at the rally
Two hundred people have already gathered near the capital, Komarovka. People yell, “Let it out!” Protesters traditionally carried posters.

People are detained by strangers wearing ski masks
Before they had time to display the first posters, an employee of the Ministry of the Interior warned them about the illegality of the mass event and about liability under articles 23.34 and 23.4 of the Administrative Code. One of the women was taken away immediately.

The first arrests near the Komarovka district are already known.
The arrests began near the Minsk Komarovka Historic District. Law enforcement officers in green uniforms take men and women into accounts without numbers. The remaining people yell “What a shame!”
The opposition forces urged people to attend the rally starting at 6:00 pm with the slogan: “one for all and all for one.” The heart of the demonstrations should be the historic district of the capital of Belarus, Komarovka.
The protest actions are related, among other things, to the arrest and disappearance of associates of the Belarusian opposition leader Svetlana Tikhanovskaya.
In particular, the day before it became known about the arrest of a member of the coordination council of the opposition Maria Kolesnikova. Later, another comrade in arms of Tikhanovskaya, Antonina Konovalova, disappeared and stopped communicating. Her whereabouts are still unknown.
Let us remind you that previously the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Maria Peichinovich-Burich, expressed her concern about the human rights violations in Belarus.
Furthermore, RBC-Ukraine wrote that Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko will not negotiate with the opposition coordinating council. He believes that his proposals are a disaster for Belarus.
