The Ukrainian army tested the American Javelin ATGM system

The military demonstrated an offensive with live fire in an urbanized area.

In the Nikolaev region at the Shirokiy Lan training ground, tactical exercises of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were carried out, during which the Turkish Bayraktar TB2 attack drones and American Javelin anti-tank systems were used. This was reported by ArmyInform.

It is indicated that the military of one of the brigades demonstrated the realization of battalion tactical group exercises with real shots in an offensive in urbanized areas, the actions of small tactical groups, the application of a concentrated missile and air attack, etc.

Particular attention was paid to the integrated use of precision weapons, electronic warfare equipment, automated control systems, and other modern weapons.

UAVs were actively used in the exercises, which carried out reconnaissance and provided target designation to defeat enemy targets. The Bayraktar TB2-type drones were also tested for capability, completing the task without the practical impact of the targets.

Effective use in combat was demonstrated by the combat crews of the Javelin and Stugna type anti-tank missile systems.

Air Force aviation with the participation of assault, fighter and bomber aviation also took an active part in the exercises.

Previously, the army was embarrassed by the exercises in the presence of the commander-in-chief, President Volodymyr Zelensky. The FGM-148 Javelin portable anti-tank missile system did not work during military exercises in the Nikolaev region.
