Serhiy Nadal explained why the quarantine will not be introduced in Ternopil at the weekend
The quarantine restrictions will destroy the city’s economy. Most business entities will simply stop working, Sergey Nadal explained.
The Ternopil authorities decided not to introduce the weekend quarantine in the city. This was announced by the mayor of Ternopil Sergei Nadal on Friday, November 13.
According to him, they decided to take that step after consulting with experts from different industries.
“Why won’t these restrictions be introduced? First of all, according to the doctors, this will not significantly affect the decrease in incidence. Then such restrictions will simply destroy the city’s economy. Most business entities will simply stop working. “Nadal said.
We will remember, as of November 14, that a weekend quarantine is introduced in Ukraine. The new restrictions will be in effect on Saturdays and Sundays until 00:00. At this time, the work of entertainment establishments, restaurants, cafes, gyms, non-grocery stores, and shopping and entertainment centers will be prohibited.
At the same time, many cities have already refused to introduce the weekend quarantine. For example, the mayor of Lviv, Andrey Sadovy, called this initiative of the Cabinet of Ministers “stupid” and promised not to introduce the quarantine.
