TCG discussed opening checkpoints in Donbass

Ukraine has opened all checkpoints in Donbass, while separatists block the work of five of them.

In an extraordinary meeting of the humanitarian subgroup of the contact group on Thursday, November 19, the unblocking of the work of the entry and exit checkpoints in the Donbass was discussed, the press service of the Ukrainian delegation to the TCG reported.

It is noted that during the negotiations it was possible to agree on the technical details of unlocking the work of the Zolotoe and Shchastya checkpoints.

“Unfortunately, despite the offer of the Ukrainian delegation, representatives of the OSCE, the French Foreign Ministry and Germany, the Russian side refused to hold a meeting of the political and security subgroups,” the Ukrainian delegation said.

The next TCG meeting is scheduled for November 24-25.

Note that Ukraine has opened all seven checkpoints in Donbas, while separatists block five of them.

Last week it was learned that the separatists “LPR” completed the construction of their checkpoints in the area of ​​Felicidad and Zolote.
