The Israeli government is returning a harsh quarantine due to the worsening situation with the coronavirus. The new restrictions will take effect on Friday, September 18 at 2:00 p.m.

The Israeli government continues to vote on quarantine measures. At the same time, for at least two weeks, citizens will be prohibited from leaving their homes for more than 500 meters. It is also forbidden to meet outdoors in groups of more than 20 people, in an enclosed space – no more than 10 people. The possibility of holding demonstrations is still in doubt.
During the quarantine period, public and private institutions will be prohibited from receiving visitors, except in the case of critical infrastructure. Up to 30% of teams can go to workplaces.
The cafes and restaurants will operate exclusively for takeout. Educational institutions will also be closed.
After two weeks of strict quarantine for two weeks, a “strict containment” system will be introduced, according to which economic activity will be limited to 50%.
More than 24,000 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Israel in one week. As of September 13, 153,759 people had been ill in the country since the start of the pandemic. More than 38 thousand patients are still active patients.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine wrote that the Israeli government is discussing the possibility of introducing a strict quarantine due to the increase in the number of coronavirus cases.
It was also reported that the second wave of coronavirus was announced in the Czech Republic.
